Weathernews has announced that there is still a risk of heavy snowfall on the Japan Sea side. A strong winter pressure system is strengthening near Japan, bringing cold air from above. The peak of the cold weather is expected around Wednesday, February 19. Areas along the Japan Sea will need to be cautious of heavy snow. This weather will last longer than expected, continuing from Saturday, February 22, until the substitute holiday on Monday, February 24.
